Pilates Sculpt
Pilates Sculpt is one of our most popular classes. Our clients love it because it tones the whole body. For some it can look a little daunting. They wonder if they have the agility to do it. However, as with our Yoga, that fear goes away pretty quickly when our clients realise that our teachers are there providing plenty of 1:1 attention and tailoring your routine to your level of ability.
Pilates is a physical fitness system founded in the 1920s by the revolutionary trainer Joseph Pilates. Originally referred to as Contrology, it is best known simply as Pilates. Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects posture, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit.

In a group of no more than eight you’ll learn how to isolate and develop important muscles, all the while enjoying a fun workout with a group of people who share a desire to improve fitness, tone, strength and flexibility.
This is a Pilates Mat class where we focus on the abdominals, back, butt and legs to achieve balance and create a strong core. We also use props such as Swiss ball, theraband, magic circle and chi balls to add variety and intensity to the sessions.

The movements are not ‘fast and furious’ but rather flowing and controlled. You’ll feel your muscles switching on as they increase their strength and flexibility.
